This handmade crocheted "helmet" is my love letter to Skyrim and its fans! It's also great for Vikings and fans of "How to Train Your Dragon." This is my original design, inspired by my obsession with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (a video game, if you're wondering what I'm talking about).
I made this hat to be comfy, warm, and full of funky Skyrim style. You'll appreciate the careful stitching and details. The main part of the hat is black, and the contrasting strips are gray, accented by stitched black rivets. I've left off the face guard, since most modern adventurers find it unnecessary. The open front allows you to wear your own ski goggles or sunglasses.
There are earflaps to keep your ears warm while exploring, taming dragons, skiing, sledding, etc. And, of course, there are horns on this helmet! As an homage to the Iron Helmet of Skyrim, these horns curve downward, rather than upward. They are stuffed with polyester fluff, and are squishy and a little bit adjustable.
Please specify your size: Adult (about 22 inches around hat band) or Child (about 20 inches around hat band). If you're concerned that your head is unusually large or small, please send the actual measurement of your head (around the part of your head where a hat rests) so I can make sure it will fit. The material is somewhat stretchy, and will "give" a bit. Here is a hat size chart to help you.
The yarn is acrylic, and I recommend you wash your helmet by hand in cool water, or in a mesh bag on the delicate cycle in a machine.

Please allow a week for me to make your hat before shipping. I craft each beanie with care, in my smoke-free home. THIS DESIGN IS MY ORIGINAL PATTERN, not a pattern purchased from another crafter. As soon as it's ready, I'll send it by Priority Mail, and you should have it in 2-3 business days within the US.
